What is Age anyway -- be the Change

I find this concept of old age ridiculous.
Everyone goes through all phases during life until the end.
We have possibility of disabilities and sicknesses from the first to the last breath.

If we live well we do not get sick or depressed or inflexible at a certain age .
But for whatever reason most of us get hooked on the concept of becoming less from the age of approximately 35 .

We need to awaken to the fact that this concept of aging is just one more concept of a society who has reduced human value to our availability to the corporate world.
Even people living "spiritual or alternative or rebellious " often buy into this and
ignore the elders, which weakens all movements striving for change in this suffering world.
Do. Not. Ignore.The. Wisdom and Capabilities .Of Anyone walking the earth -
from baby to the last moment in the body-
all are embodiment of the Universal Spark .

Some Beaver Medicine waited for us in the Forest

Beaver medicine asks us to take a good look at the quality of our environment and suggests destroy that which no longer serves . Destruction has an important role in creativity and can not be avoided.
Beaver medicine points that we have a hard time to be joyful because there is a compulsive need to feel important and be THE best ever at a given task or situation.
Western perspective seeks grandeur and leads to burn-out and exhaustion.

Smiling Intestines - Smiling Me ... My Personal Recepy to Balance It All

I know many have problems with digestion and the stomach.
So I thought I´d like to share one of my top remedies for that .
I call it "Smiling Intestines, Smiling Me" ;-)

I take it two times a day , once in the morning and then once again in the evening , BEFORE dinner . It will make you less hungry which will make you less full before lying down and thus might even help improving your sleep. ….

You need 3 ingredients to begin with. All of them are used in Macrobiotic Living .
( PLEASE make sure you buy ORGANIC )

1 - kuzu

Kuzu, or known in America as kudzu root, has been prized for its medicinal properties in China and Japan for thousands of years.
Clinical studies, done in China, have shown that kuzu root preparations can reduce high blood pressure, relieve chronic migraines and ease aches in the shoulders and neck.
The flavonoids in kuzu have been shown to lower cholesterol levels, reduce the risk of blood clots, and protect against heart disease.
As reported by Harvard medical researcher Wing-Ming Keung, kuzu can curb the desire for alcohol and help heal the organs damaged by alcoholism.

2 - Miso

Miso is a paste made from soybeans, sea salt, and koji (a mold starter), and often mixed with rice, barley or other grains. The mixture is allowed to ferment for 3 months to 3 years, which produces an enzyme-rich food.
The binding agent zybicolin in miso is effective in detoxifying and eliminating elements that are taken into the body through industrial pollution, radioactivity and artificial chemicals in the soil and food system.
The 10 scientifically researched benefits of miso:

1. Contains all essential amino acids, making it a complete protein.
2. Stimulates the secretion of digestive fluids in the stomach.
3. Restores beneficial probiotics to the intestines.
4. Aids in the digestion and assimilation of other foods in the intestines.
5. Is a good vegetable-quality source of B vitamins (especially B12).
6. Strengthens the quality of blood and lymph fluid.
7. Reduces risk for breast, prostate, lung and colon cancers.
8. Protects against radiation due to dipilocolonic acid, an alkaloid that chelates heavy metals and discharges them from the body.
9. Strengthens the immune system and helps to lower LDL cholesterol.
10. Is high in antioxidants that protect against free radicals.

3 - Umeboshi Paste

A diet high in acidic foods, as is prevalent in the Weatern World with so many meals consisting of refined sugars and red meat, is at the core of many symptoms such as fatigue, digestive imbalances, emotional imbalances, and anxiety.
In fact, an overly acidic diet can cause inflammation, which is the gateway to many other ailments. Luckily, with a few dietary changes, it is possible to create balance once again.
One way to combat this over-acidic tendency is to include foods with alkalinizing effects on the blood, urine, and saliva, such as umeboshi plums.
Umeboshi plums have been used for centuries in Asia, specifically Japan, China, and Korea.
They are an amazing alkalinizing food.
This is because they contain citric acid.
They are created via a lactic fermentation process using Japanese plums, shiso leaves, and sea salt. The shiso leaves are have many medicinal health benefits themselves,
and they contribute to the antimicrobial and infection fighting components of the umeboshi plums.
It is important to check that these three things are the only ingredients because mass production and recent demand of this fruit has caused some companies to use artificial dyes and preservatives to keep costs down. -

Though these three are expensive , they are hardly as expensive as going all bad with your guts and feeling like crap and all the things you might have taken to help with the symptoms up to now …

So INVEST in yourself . A balanced intestine and stomach is key to your emotional wellbeing …

NOW to the EASY part – HOW TO prepare this drink .

RECEPY :
Take a Big Mug and fill it with water . Then put this amount of water in a pot and add a spoon full of Kuzu. Stir it until it resolves .
Then start heating the pot up. When it starts cokking , give it appr 2 min to swell .
Put One Spoon full of Miso and One Spoon fill of Umeboshi in your Mug .
Fill it now with the Kuzu water and stir until it all blends well .
READY . Now enjoy and drink .
I personally like the taste a lot . It is a bit similar to a bowl with chinese or japanese sweet sour soup-
ONE INGREDIENT to add !
Smile to your intestines, stomach, liver, gallbladder and to your whole body while drinking it … ;-)

Longing, Craving, Desire ... are they valuable sources on the path of awakening ?

... yes, they are valuable sources to awakening....!
if we are not bound to fulfilling them and/or just got hooked on them, they show us deep truth and lead us to where to we can take our next steps.
This happens when we allow to feel into them , 100 % , without acting upon them. How does it feel, what does it create it in me body-wise, what lies beyond them , falling deeper and deeper into ourselves ... what do we find BEYOND / BEHIND that ?
E.g. I am longing for the mountains since several days . When I take the time to look deeper instead of just packing my bag and leaving for the Alps .
... what is it I find ...
a deep longing after authencity and silence in the depth of my being.
A longing for deep connection with the essence of "me" .
I am the mountains. They are me. Nowhere to go, nothing to do.

"There are mountains hidden in treasures. There are mountains hidden in swamps. There are mountains hidden in the sky. There are mountains hidden in mountains. There are mountains hidden in hiddenness. This is complete understanding. An ancient Buddha said, "Mountains are mountains, waters are waters." These words do not mean mountains are mountains; they mean mountains are mountains. Therefore investigate mountains thoroughly. When you investigate mountains thoroughly, this is the work of the mountains. Such mountains and waters of themselves become wise persons and sages." Dogen

So I will investigate mountains thoroughly ...
